Since the House of Representatives passed their version of a cap and trade bill while ignoring the flood of calls and emails from their constituents to not do it, I thought it might behoove us to take a look at what comprises our atmosphere.  Is it possible that the “evil” CO2 is a major player?  Take a look at the link and decide for yourself:

Okay.  Now who wants another piece of pie?  Or, as Congress sees it: “another piece of the pie”.  What rational thinking person who has internet access and the ability to do the Google search on global warming can’t find the facts proving that this is just one huge money grab by our government in the name of “protecting the environment”?  Again, as I have submitted in a previous posting, what do we exhale and what is deemed the bain of the environment and the cause of global warming?  The answer: carbon dioxide.  Therefore, it stands to reason that, ultimately, we will need to stop exhaling in order to “save the planet”.  And, indeed that is what we are beginning to experience.  Between partial birth abortion and more states passing assisted suicide laws we are witnessing the eradication of our own species.  I guess that will solve the problem of CO2 emissions, once and for all!

Well, the House of Representatives went and did it.  By a vote of 219 for and 212 against, we are one step closer to economic suicide.  Here is the link with a key quote from San Fran Nan to kick it off:

“We passed transformational legislation, which will take us into the future,” said House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., after the 219-212 vote.  “For some it was a very difficult vote because the entrenched agents of the status quo were out there full force, jamming the lines in their districts and here, and they withstood that,” Pelosi said.

We living in “fly over country” are now known as “entrenched agents of the status quo” simply because we were willing to take time out from our busy lives earning an income, paying our taxes and raising our children to obey the law to “jam the lines” with our opinion!  Will we even get to 2010 remembering what they think of us and our opinions?  And to add to this question, check out this from Hugh Hewitt:
