Dan Rather And Watermelons
Today’s link addresses a quote by Dan Rather where he is attempting to share one of his so-called ‘home spun anecdotes’ he is so ‘famous’ for when trying to reveal how he thinks the Republicans are going to take back the house and senate in November. Pay close attention to how Chris (thrill up my leg / I forgot he was black for an hour) Matthews tries to ‘voice over’ what Rather is saying before he can get the whole thing out:
In the article, it compares another alledged racist comment that resulted in the mayor of Los Alamitos in California appologizing and resigning. Could this be the same for Mr. Rather? I doubt it; he isn’t conservative or Republican enough.
By the way: here is the link to the email photo:

Man Oh Man! Am I Glad It’s Monday!
Oh please, take it away Uncle Jay!! This week’s word(s) is (are) “up or down”; along with “reconciliation”. Give it a listen:

Whether your week was up or down, try to reconcile it in the week ahead, okay?
Generation Zero: The Movie
The link today is to an article that addresses where we came from, where we are now and, most likely, where we are headed as a nation. It is not pretty. Read with care.
At the end of the article, there is a spot you can click on to view the trailer of the movie. Whether you do or not is up to you. You have been forewarned. It is now time to be forearmed.
