Okay, I am nothing but a private citizen and I don’t even have a college education (some might say that is a plus) but I have been unable to wrap my head around the latest flap down in Honduras.  It involves their congress removing the president, Manuel Zelaya, from office and the country because he attempted to change their constitution so he could run for re-election.  In the meantime, our president, after weighing the issue, came down on the side of Zelaya along with most of the rest of the world.  What I don’t get is this: if a country’s constitution states one thing and a leader of that country tries to change the constitution and, as after being warned by duly elected members of congress not to attempt to change the constitution and goes ahead anyway, why are we siding with the person violating their country’s constitution?  Anyway, check out this video from Big Hollywood.  Maybe it will clear up the confusion.

Maybe, just maybe, Obama is on the side of Zelaya simply because it is politically expedient.  Or, maybe something more sinister?  You decide and get back to me, okay?
