Al Gore Found!
Well, not so much. Just a long, drawn out diatribe (published by the New York Times of course) chastising the world community (and the United States in particular) that we are dropping the ball by thinking record snowfall and cold temperatures around the world have anything to do with proving his theory as wrong. He even goes so far as to posit that the cold temperatures during January only proves that it was the second warmest January in the last 130 years!
Here is the whole article, should you want to read it:

Be warned, however: it is chock full of ‘talking points’ so don’t get your hopes up. Even where he ‘admits’ errors, he words it carefully to still give the flavor of those errors being cloaked in a garment of hatred and denial. Here is but one example:
“It is true that the climate panel published a flawed overestimate of the melting rate of debris-covered glaciers in the Himalayas, and used information about the Netherlands provided to it by the government, which was later found to be partly inaccurate. In addition, e-mail messages stolen from the University of East Anglia in Britain showed that scientists besieged by an onslaught of hostile, make-work demands from climate skeptics may not have adequately followed the requirements of the British freedom of information law.” (bold emphasis mine)
He and his ilk are not going to give up, folks. There is too much pride to defend and too much money to be made.
There is also something that is even more sinister in all this and the following quote is very telling:
“From the standpoint of governance, what is at stake is our ability to use the rule of law as an instrument of human redemption.”
Still believe this isn’t a religion?
