Cutting The Budget “One Bite At A Time”
How do you eat an elephant? The answer is “one bite at a time”. But, how long will it take you to eat that elephant? Let’s just say that, by the time you get even remotely close to finishing the elephant, it is surely on its way to rotting and emitting a stink that would contribute to the eater’s unwillingness to finish. Such is the analogy regarding Obama’s token gesture to cutting the deficit. See the link below for a graph depiction to better illustrate how token the gesture really is.
