Free Speech Gets The Boot
Two months ago, Dan Fuchs set up a kiosk in the Johnson City Mall in Johnson City, Tennessee. He said business at ‘Graphic Edge’ was slow until a customer approached him with a request to print an anti-Obama bumper sticker. Business began taking off and the anti-Obama slogans soon constituted 60 per cent of his business. That is when the complaints started coming in to the mall management and eventually resulted in him receiving his 24 hour eviction notice. No where has it been revealed just how many complaints were made, but why should that stand in the way of an agenda? You can click on the link below for the video that addresses this issue:
Imagine if the complaints were about anti-Bush items? Do you think the same approach would have been made? For some reason, I don’t think so. Like one commenter stated: “They would probably tell us to go jump in the lake!”
Apparently, Mr. Fuchs is taking the lemons thrown at him and is choosing to make lemonade! He will begin selling his merchandise online.
If you would like to comment to the mall about their choice to obviously limit free speech, here is a number of names and addresses you can respond to:
