Joe “You Lie” Wilson Was Right!
After the outburst during president Obama’s speech on health care the other day, Joe Wilson apologized. But, according to the following link from MSNBC, he was not wrong. As a lead-in to the article is this quote; a most revealing quote that gets right to the point as to why Mr. Wilson was so vocal during Obama’s claim that no illegals will get health care treatment under B. Hussein’s plan:
There would be no change in the law that requires emergency rooms to treat people who need emergency care, including undocumented immigrants.

Notice how the article doesn’t use the word “illegals”?
I have no problem treating anyone who needs emergency help. After all, we are all human beings and deserve equal access to medical treatment. The real rub here for me is: we have a health care system that is on the verge of spiraling out of control cost wise and it is no secret that a great deal of the burden placed on it is exacted by those who come to this country illegally; especially along the southern border states. If we can humanely address that issue, it appears to me that we will find ourselves well on the way to solving the health care costs we are all seeing increased.
Also, we need more “Joes” to echo what so many of us living in “fly over country” are screaming at our TVs!
