In reference to the economic hardship that many in this country are experiencing lately, today’s post involves a “typical” shopping day at the Farmers Market with Michelle Obama.  It seems that she was out of “certified organic Tuscan kale” and needed to get some more.  No problem, right?  Just hop in the car and drive down to the store and purchase more, right?  I mean, that is what you would do, right?  Well, not Michelle.  Here is a link to an article following the First Lady’s excursion to the store:

Talk about your carbon footprint!  Seems to me that it would have saved time, money and the planet if she had just ordered the items she needed and had them delivered to her “home”.

I sure hope dinner was worth it.  Now, if you will excuse me, my hot dogs are done…..
