Using A 51 Majority Is An Arrogant Power Grab
Today’s post with video link addresses the concerns from members of the Senate regarding the so-called ‘simple majority’ rule that would allow a mere 51 votes in favor of passing legislation to overrule the normal 60 votes needed. However, the surprise outcry is not coming from the Republicans; it is coming from the Democrats and Obama himself!
We continue to witness the changing of the game through the changing of the name. From global warming to global climate change; from insurgents to freedom fighters; from terrorism to man made disaster; from the nuclear option to ‘reconciliation’.
They all scream out loud (both Democrats and Republicans) as the wizard in the Wizard of Oz did: “Don’t look behind the curtain!”
