I got to thinking this morning as I was cruising the Internet.  There was a forum debating the cap and trade bill just passed by the House of Representatives.  The article referenced a quote by Nancy Pelosi where she sounded proud that they resisted the jamming of their phones by those she referred to as “entrenched agents of the status quo” who voiced their opposition to voting yes.

Bringing those thoughts to a conclusion (for now), we are also changing the phrase “global warming” to “global climate change”.  From our own government EPA web site, check the link below and read the information on the right hand side of the page to explain why one phrase is being preferred over the other.

We are witnessing first hand an amazing fulfillment of what George Orwell “prophesied” in 1949 through his book 1984.  Sixty years later, we are quite possibly seeing his warnings coming to pass.   Chilling!  Free speech is under attack in the form of “newspeak”.  There is a video produced by the BBC in 1954 presenting his book, starring Peter Cushing.  You can Youtube it to watch if you dare…..
