There are more than 30 “Czars” currently “advising” the president, unelected and accountable to virtually no one other than the president himself.  This is nothing less than another form of the Saul Alinsky school of thought called “overwhelming the system”.  With Van Jones gone (?), we still need to stay the course; but the question is: who next?

I recommend we take a real close look at Mark Lloyd, because he just may be the point man used to shutting down the one venue left to free speech that collectively raised the red flag about Jones.   That one venue left includes the blog you are currently reading.  And, as such, Rush, Glenn, Shaun, Fox News, along with the rest of us, may be in the bulls eye sights of the current administration.

The Obama administration appears to be actively engaged, through their “diversity czar” Mark Lloyd, in targeting true free speech before all these “czars” get too much exposure, effectively crippling the administration’s plans to “fundamentally transform the United States of America”.

In 2006 while at the liberal Center for American Progress Lloyd wrote a book entitled, Prologue to a Farce: Communications and Democracy in America. In the book he presents the idea the private broadcasters (private business) should pay a licensing fees which equals their total operating costs so that public broadcasting station can spend the same on their operations as the private companies do. Not only does he want to redistribute (read: redistribute wealth) private profits, (but) he wants to regulate much of the programming on these stations to make sure they focus on “diverse views” (Progressive Views) and government activities.

This is nothing less than a back door attempt to re-institute the “Fairness Doctrine”, but on a more sinister level, by hitting us directly in the pocketbook!

This is truly frightening stuff, folks!  If we thought Van Jones was a threat to our nation, we really need to nip this “czar” in the bud.  If we don’t, this blog along with all other voices like Rush, Glenn, Shaun, etc. will be literally taxed out of business.

Today’s posting with link to article addresses the job market in today’s economy.  There is a lot of talk about “saving” jobs or “creating” new jobs by this administration.  One area of “new” job creation is alternative energies.  As congress discusses global warming and what to do about it, one of the tools used is that it will be good for the job market because it will create new jobs in the emerging alternative energy field.  Well, that may be true but, unfortunately, as the following article points out, the wages will not be any where close to those being paid workers in the current job “climate”.  In fact, it reminds me of the two guys talking about how many jobs there are available today and the one responds to the other with “yeah, I know; I’m working two of them”.  And, if we desire to continue living the standard we have become used to, that is what it will take. In fact, sixty years ago, after WWII was over, there was a spike in the standard of living, simply because many women who went into the workplace while the men went off to war remained on the job and that was the beginning of the two income family.  Now, sixty years later, we are beginning to see the two income person!

I guess it is all in how you look at it but, one thing is for sure: if future jobs are paying half of what current jobs are paying, it will mean significantly less disposable income to buy that house or car or to save for retirement and that will translate into a continued down economy for many years to come.

It is a truly eye opening article!  If there ever was a time to consider what all those right wing extremists are shouting about from this side of the “pond”, we need to listen very carefully from someone who has “been there”.
