To be a fan of Rush Limbaugh aside:

Don’t you think anyone in this great country of ours affluent enough, successful enough, should be free to invest their financial success without interference?  Obviously not if you have been following the full on frontal attack regarding Mr. Limbaugh and his desire to be a co-owner of a football team.  Seems that he is being accused of having made some racist remarks several years ago (that cannot be substantiated).  But that has not stopped the liberals from coming out in force, screaming that he must be stopped from investing his money as he sees fit.

Here is a link to Big Hollywood with a very telling expose’ on some other “investors” in NFL teams that, if held to the same standard that Mr. Limbaugh is simply being accused of, would not be allowed the same freedom Rush is being denied:

This is getting out of hand!  What next?  Maybe the Obama appointed pay czar telling private company CEOs just how much they can make?  Oh, wait, that is happening as well!

Now, you may think this is okay.  After all, how much do those evil rich really need anyway, right?  Well, just keep that in mind should you ever work hard and succeed because, if government and the main stream media are allowed to enforce their double standard on today’s successful achievers, they will be coming after you and me tomorrow.

Oh, that is unless we are paying them either money or lip service or fitting within their definition of “well, that’s just entertainment”, etc, and thus  be okay in doing what others aren’t allowed.  No double standard here…..
